Randy Baruh has directed new plays and classics in New York City at theaters which include The Soho Playhouse, The Cherry Lane Theater, The Vital Theater, The Irish Arts Center, Blue Heron Theater, Danny Kaye Playhouse, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Manhattan Theater Source, HERE Arts Center, Access Theatre, Present Company, and the Sande Shurin Theatre. Regional theaters include the Williamstown Theater Festival and the Deertrees Theater Festival.

As an actor Randy has performed A Midsummer Nights Dream (Access Theater), The Marriage (Present Company), and in Dan Foglers Elephant in the Room (45 Bleeker). Films include the title role in Hysterical Psycho (Dir. Dan Fogler), All You Have (Dir. Noah Bean), Small Stakes (Dir. Noah Bean), Super Zeros (Dir. Marco Ricci), and Trillions (Dir. Margo Passalaqua). Randy has led acting workshops for Princeton University, the Williamstown Theater Festival, and The Metropolitan Opera Guild. Awards: Drama League Directors Project, Fall Production Fellowship. Training: MFA in Acting from Carnegie Mellon University and The Moscow Art Theatre Conservatory, Russia.
